👥 Contacts & Group Management

Manage your customer database systematically on the Contacts page. With proper contact management, you can segment campaigns much more effectively.

Managing Contacts​

There are three ways to input customer data into Wagy:

  1. Manual Add: Enter names and phone numbers one by one.
  2. Sync from WhatsApp: Wagy can automatically pull the contact list already saved on your phone. Just click the Sync button and wait a moment.
  3. Import CSV: Upload thousands of contacts at once using a .csv file. The file format must have two columns: Name (first column) and Phone Number (second column). Optional headers (the system automatically detects if the first row is 'Name' or 'Number').
LID Verified

Contacts with the LID Verified label mean the number has been validated by the WhatsApp system as a legitimate identity, providing a higher level of delivery certainty.

Segmentation with Groups​

Groups in Wagy are different from WhatsApp groups. Groups here function as folders or tags to categorize contacts.

  • Use Case Examples: Create groups like "VIP Customers", "Web Leads", or "May Billing".
  • Advantage: When you want to send a broadcast, you simply select the group, and Wagy will automatically include all group members in the recipient list.

With Virtual Scrolling support, you can search for contacts among tens of thousands of records very quickly and smoothly without slowing down your browser.
