📱 Device Management

The My Devices page is where you connect your WhatsApp numbers to the Wagy ecosystem. Here, you can monitor connection health, manage quotas, and configure device parameters.

Adding a New Device​

The first step to start using Wagy is creating a device profile:

  1. Click the + Add Device button in the top right corner.
  2. Provide a memorable Label (e.g., "CS Jakarta" or "Marketing Team").
  3. Click Create. You will receive a Device ID and an API Token.
Save Your Token

The API Token is only displayed once upon creation. If you lose your token, you must perform a Regenerate Token in the device settings.

Connecting WhatsApp (Pairing)​

Wagy uses stable Web-Session technology. To connect your number:

  1. Click the Pair WhatsApp button on the newly created device card.
  2. A QR Code will appear.
  3. Open WhatsApp on your phone > Linked Devices > Link a Device.
  4. Scan the QR Code.
WhatsApp Business Exclusive

We exclusively support the use of WhatsApp Business for better connection stability and compliance with Meta's policies.

Understanding Status Indicators​

Each device card displays a real-time status indicator:

  • Connected: The device is ready to send and receive messages.
  • Paired (Offline): The device is linked, but your phone lost internet connection or the session is suspended.
  • Not Paired: You need to re-scan the QR code.
  • Rejected: Your number was detected as a non-business account (due to specific policies).

Quota Management (Free vs PRO)​

Wagy separates quotas into two types to provide flexibility:

  • Free Quota: Given every month for free for users who do not need high message volumes (Free 1000 messages/month). It has the same reliability as PRO, but every message will include the Powered by Wagy text and does not support the Webhook feature.
  • PRO Quota: Paid quota with a specific validity that unlocks exclusive features like Webhooks and high-priority queuing without additional labels on messages.

Click the Detail button on the device card to see the remaining quota breakdown and your voucher's expiration date.

Once the device is connected, you are ready to Send Messages.
